Every Sunday morning, I ride my bike to Grandma's house for breakfast. Grandma gets up early and makes her special pancakes for the family.

She never reads a recipe. "The recipe is in my hands," she always says. She mixes flour, eggs, and milk to make the batter, then fries the pancakes until they turn golden.

My job is to set the table and pour the soy milk. Sometimes my cousins come too, and the small kitchen gets noisy and warm. Last Sunday, Grandma told us how Grandpa won her heart with a burned pancake. We all laughed at the story.

The pancakes are soft and sweet, but the best part of Sunday breakfast is not the food. It is the stories Grandma tells us while we eat.
